    Registration is now open for presentations and training workshops at Calgary CanMUG Sept 10-11, 2024!  

    The first day of the user group conference features Maximo presentations from IBM and end-users. After the presentations, a Sponsor Expo and Networking Social sponsored by IBM is held with drinks and appetizers providing the opportunity to connect with fellow Maximo users.

    The second day provides optional workshops specific to Maximo end-users.

    The second day provides hands-on training specific to Maximo end-users. The additional cost of each session is $175 and may be selected during registration. Seating is limited and is only available to end-users. Sessions are hands-on and participants will need to bring their own devices, as applicable to the training.

    8AM Workshop - Fundamentals of Maximo Mobile: Presented by Francisco Coelho, IBM 

    Please join us for this hands-on review of available functionality in Maximo Mobile for EAM. We will cover the core features available with the Assets, Technicians, Inspection and Service Requests applications. 
    Bring your laptop and mobile device for this 2.5 hour hands-on learning workshop. Breakfast is included. The training will cover:

    • High level overview of Maximo Mobile capabilities
    • Asset Management in Mobile
    • Work Management in Mobile (Technicians, Service Requests, Work Orders)
    • Inspection Forms in Mobile
    • Questions and hands-on exercises

    11AM Workshop - What's New in MAS 9 Manage!: Presented by Mrun Gadre, Cohesive

    MAS 9 was released on June 25 - along with this release comes a few new changes.  IBM is changing the product lifecycle from continuous delivery to a 3+1+3 Support Cycle. Several new cababilities are being added to MAS 9 such as: Suite user management enhancements, Scheduling and Dispatching dashboard enhancements, new Inspection forms using the Maximo Application Framework and Work Order Intelligence. Bring your laptop for this 2.5 hour hands-on learning workshop. Lunch is included. This training will cover: 

    • High Level Overview of MAS 9 with new capabilities
    • Fundamentals of Maximo Manage
    • Suite user management updates
    • Schedule and Dispatch Dashboards
    • Operational Dashboard Enhancements
    • Inspection Forms and Manage Monitoring Information (MMI) applications
    • Questions and hands-on exercises

    2PM Workshop - Building Maximo Workflows That Work!: Presented by Kate Schowalter, Cohesive

    This training will explore automating business processes using Maximo workflows. Bring your laptop for this 2.5 hour hands-on learning workshop. Lunch is included.  This training will cover:

    • An introduction to workflow within Maximo
    • Advantages to using workflow and associated best practices
    • Prerequisites to build an effective workflow
    • Review of the configuration options used to develop workflows (node types and purposes, start/stop workflows, workflow administration)
    • Components which can be used to manage workflows effectively (communication templates, roles, actions and action groups)
