  • Early Bird pricing is available until Jan 16 2025. Tickets are for entrance to Day 1 of the conference Jan 28. Training on Day 2 can be added at an additional cost of $175 per class during registration. Email info@canmug.org for questions.

Join us for Maximo networking, presentations, and training workshops at Vancouver CanMUG Jan 28-29, 2025!

The first day of the user group conference features Maximo presentations from IBM and end-users. After the presentations is an Expo and Networking Social sponsored by Projetech and IBM providing the opportunity to connect with fellow Maximo users.

The second day provides optional workshops specific to Maximo end-users.

Day 2 (Jan 29th): Maximo Training Workshops

* optional end-user training, additional cost applies

The second day provides hands-on training specific to Maximo end-users. The additional cost of each session is $175 and may be selected during registration. Seating is limited and is only available to end-users. Sessions are hands-on and participants will need to bring their own devices, as applicable to the training.

8AM Workshop - Mobile Service Requests- New Enhancements on Mobile 9.1 and New Maps Integration: Presented by Francisco Coelho, IBM 

Please join us for this hands-on training in Maximo Mobile for EAM. We will cover the new functionalities in Mobile Service Requests module including Spatial/Maps interactions and other Mobile applications

Bring your laptop and mobile device for this 2.5 hour hands-on learning workshop. Breakfast is included. 

11AM Workshop - Introducing Application Performance Management (APM) Based on Your EAM Data in Maximo Manage by Leveraging Maximo Health: Presented by Joe Mendoza, Interloc Solutions Inc.

The IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) was named a leader in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) in the October 2024 Verdantix Green Quadrant report. Additionally, in July 2024, IBM MAS was also recognized as a leader in Asset Performance Management (APM). Following an upgrade from Maximo 7.6.1.x to IBM MAS, your organization will be equipped with the MAS Foundation, already set up for the industry-leading EAM application in Manage. From there, you can begin expanding into APM applications such as Health, Monitor, and Predict, starting with Health as your first step. This training workshop will guide you on how to begin using the Health application with your existing Manage data.

Bring your laptop for this 2.5 hour hands-on learning workshop. Lunch is included.  

  • Overview of Maximo Health 
  • End user flow to detect Assets in poor health and taking action 
  • Creating Scoring Groups and Scoring Ranges
  • Creating Scoring Contributors and discussing out-of-the box Contributors 
  • Linking Contributors to Scores within Scoring Groups 
  • Review your configured scores and perform actions 
  • Explore with your configurations and work through questions

    2PM Workshop - Enhanced Work Management Capabilities in MAS: Presented by Steve Norris, Cohesive

    This hands on interactive session will introduce attendees to some of the new enhanced work management capabilities in MAS. 

    Bring your laptop for this 2.5 hour hands-on learning workshop. Lunch is included.  

    • Role Based Work Orders Application: application overview, creating custom views in the role based work order application, work order creation and planning
    • Work Queue Manager: defining the work queue, specifying a query, adding actions to the work queue
    • Operational Dashborad: create an operational dashboard, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), quick actions and favourites, workflow assignments due soon, work queues, card gallery, operational dashboard navigation, perform actions from your operational dashboard
