Call for Presentation Abstracts!

We are piloting a revised format for the Calgary CanMUG based on user feedback. CanMUG has expanded to allow two-days of Maximo presentations for the in-person October 28-29, 2026 conference — creating even more opportunities to share Maximo stories with the end-user community!

Maximo presentations are the heart of CanMUG. The Maximo user community loves hearing from other end-users and their experiences. Your story will be interesting to others, and speaking in person at CanMUG fosters a community of users. Share your unique implementations, practical solutions, knowledge expertise, and innovative ideas to benefit others!

How does the CanMUG agenda come together?

Great question! It comes from you! Topic suggestions come from members through surveys and discussions. Informative presentation abstracts are submitted by end-users and sponsors. Submissions are evaluated by the Steering Committee comprised of end-users. Chosen presentations become the CanMUG Agenda!

Submission Guidelines:

This call invites Maximo end-users and sponsors with an interest in proposing educational in-person presentations to submit abstracts to steeringcommittee@canmug.org for consideration by August 13. Include the proposal title and content, all the names of speakers, company, and contact information including phone and email. The Steering Committee carefully evaluates each informational submission for the limited number of presentation spots and will notify those chosen. Preference is given to End-User submissions.  End-Users who are chosen to present receive free admission to CanMUG.

Submissions requested:

End-User presentation submissions with or without a Sponsor. 
Sponsor presentation submissions, educational, non-sales with or without an end-user. 
Remember to include name, company, phone, and email for all of the speakers

June - Call for Abstracts and Topic Suggestions Submissions are Open
August 13 - Presentation Submission Deadline
August 21 - Notice of Acceptance to Chosen Presenters
August 28 - Agenda is Finalized and Registration Opens
