The CanMUG hosts meetings annually in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. Each meeting consists of user presentations, an open forum/roundtable, a networking session and an optional training workshop.

AM Functional Workshop – What’s new in the latest Health Safety and Environmental Industry Solution

The Overview of the Health Safety and Environmental Industry Solution will present the footprint of the specific applications and the associated business processes. This workshop is intended to provide you with the necessary knowledge needed to understand how Maximo for HSE can be used to meet your organizational and business goals that pertain to Environmental, Health and Safety, Reliability and Operations. The overview workshop will cover the purpose of the oil and gas solution, the core and supporting modules and typical business processes and best practices supporting your operational excellence initiatives. Topics include: Management of Change (MOC), incidents, investigations, improvements, action tracking, benefits and losses, regulations management, risk management and prioritization, condition for work, failure codes and specifications, operator log, and run log.

AM Technical Workshop – Maximo Reporting 201

To many organizations BIRT Reporting is still a mystery – you either love it or hate it. In this condensed reporting course users will see what it takes to build a new BIRT report from scratch, including graphical and listing report. Drill down to detail report, and linked sections of a BIRT report. All concepts which will improve your company’s ability to make the most of Maximo Data.
Topics Covered: Report Object Structures, QBR, Extending QBR Reports with BIRT, Using Report Object Structures on Start Center Result Sets. PM Functional Workshop – Budgeting, Licensing and Work Centers

In this session we will cover IBM’s #1 requested for Maximo – Budget Monitoring!  This new feature was released with Maximo Attendees will learn how to set up budgets, budget focal points, and rules around how the Budget tracks estimated, committed and actual transaction costs.  Additionally, through live demonstration, we will show some slick ways to quickly upload budget data using MXLOADER.

With the release of Maximo IBM now provides a new application called License Usage Monitor.  You can use the new License Usage Monitor application to monitor your usage of Maximo licenses. You can use this information to optimize usage of licenses. This session will demonstrate how to set up and  use the new License Usage Monitor and provide additional information on things to look out for when putting this to work in your organization.

Maximo contained significant enhancements to the new Work Center user interface.  This session will demonstrate how to create and approve a new Inspection Form.  Additionally, we will demonstrate how to conduct an Inspection with the newly created form.

PM Functional Workshop – MAHI – Maximo Asset Health Insights V7.6

This workshop will explore how MAHI consolidates asset information, provides the capability to define and normalize asset health based on key drivers, and allows users to drill into business assets by location, hierarchy, or asset class. All while leveraging information and analytics using Watson. A working integration to OSI PI will be demonstrated in this class. Reliability engineers and maintenance supervisors will gain a deeper understanding of the health of their assets.
